My First Astro Bino :), August 17, 2009
Reviewer: Sani from Fiji Islands - Pacific Harbour
I just love it! Live in Fiji & ordered it International Express - received within a week. Have had it for about 2 weeks now and I'm just so happy to be able to see stuff I'd been wanting to see for so long!(example M6 & M7) I'd wanted the 20x80 but for a 1st binoculars, I'm glad I went with these. Once I get a mount, my next bino will definitely be 20x80 LW (cost considerations) Thanks Oberwerk

This is my first pair of astronomy binoculars and I am very glad to have chosen these. The magnification is perfect and anything more and it would be hard to hold steady. The image is clear and crisp and I have never seen so many stars before.

great binos for the price, August 13, 2009

i use these glasses mainly with a tripod for casual stargazing. these binos are much better than i expected for the price.they work well for any application, but may be a little big to carry on a hiking trail.good optics.sturdy construction.good eye relief for eyeglasses.no complaints.

Read about them on the net re. a posters question about astronomy use. I thought at the time they sounded cheap. Well I checked other opinions and figured with such a decent price I had nothing to lose. I love these binoculars.

I have used them every night since I recd. them. I dug out my star finder that I had not used in about ten years. I have been sitting out in my backyard stargazing and realize just how magnificent the universe is. Found comet Holmes by accident--thought it was the Andromeda galaxy.

I watched the biggest owl I've ever seen the other day at dusk on one of our redwood trees. Very happy with purchase. Will buy two more for christmas gifts.

I won my 9x60's in a raffle at the Mason-Dixon Star Party in the summer of 2008. I've enjoyed them as hand-held binoculars, but they do their best when on a tripod, so that your arms can rest when you're taking long looks. My greatest complaint is that the right ocular's independent adjustment is a bit stiff. I'm sure that'll work itself out in time.

They're great at giving you full views of open clusters & other Messier objects. I also find that the Moon is very nice through them, too. They were a kid-pleaser at the 100 Hours of Astronomy star parties my club threw.
