We've modified the beautiful hardwood tripod normally supplied with the Oberwerk 25/40x100 Long-Range Observation Binocular by adding a 3/8" machined aluminum plate with a 3/8" stud. Now this great tripod can be used with a variety of mounts and heads. Purchase with the Manfrotto 701 HDV head or MVH502AH head (as shown) and save $20. This combo is ideal for heavier binoculars, such as the Oberwerk 25x100IF.
For more height, with easy adjustment from +3" to +21", add our carbon-fiber center column (max. weight 16 lbs.).
Tall tripod upgrade now available ($50 extra). Each leg section is 5" longer, which adds up to 10" of height (at full extension). Ideal for using straight-through-view binoculars for astronomy.
Need a place to store your extra eyepieces, as well as a couple of wine or pint glasses? You need our Eyepiece/Beverage Tray, attaches to the tripod spreader with a single thumbscrew.
The wood can be upgraded to exotic jarrah hardwood for an additional $140.
