The same Oberwerk Fork that comes standard with the Oberwerk 45° 100mm Binocular Telescope is now available separately, and with a number of accessories to make it useful for just about any optical device weighing up to 30 lbs., and having a width of less than 9.75" at the attachment point. Order it with the Oberwerk Wood Tripod or with a Manfrotto quick-release adapter for use on any 3/8"-stud heavy-duty tripod (we highly recommend the Manfrotto 161MK2B). Very rigid but relatively lightweight cast aluminum construction. Adjustable bearing tensioners for altitude and azimuth. NOTE: Captive thumb screw is meant for the Oberwerk BT-100-45, and is M10x1.5. For use with other devices, the thumbscrew is easily removed.

Manfrotto (3/8") Adapter The Manfrotto adapter includes the quick-release from the Oberwerk Wood Tripod, but mounted to a 3/8"-thick aluminum plate with 3/8-16 hole, for mounting to any tripod that has a 3/8" stud. Use this with the Manfrotto 475 or 161MK2B tripod to have crank-up height adjustment range of 12".
