Oberwerk Jarrah Hardwood Tripod
Jarrah (pronounced "yar-ruh") is an exotic hardwood that grows only in western Australia. It is extremely dense and strong, and is even harder than teak. The grain is similar to mahogony, with a rich red color. Jarrah is most commonly used for flooring and fine outdoor furniture.
This gorgeous extra-sturdy tripod is now available as a $140 upgrade on an Oberwerk premium binocular/tripod purchase, or separately. Jarrah tripods can also be custom laser-engraved.
